Ultra Logistics Attends Annual Food Shippers of America Conference

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. (March 9, 2009)—Ultra Logistics attended the Food Shippers of America (FSA) Conference which was held March 1 – 3, 2009 at The Westin La Paloma Resort in Tucson, AZ

The annual event provided an opportunity for food manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers of food and beverage related products—and their partners in the supply chain, logistics, distribution, and transportation—to meet and discuss a variety of topics.

The agenda included such topics as the drive for companies to go green, the current fuel situation, as well as identifying trends and issues that are important to the food industry as a whole.

Attendees this year included ConAgra, Del Monte, General Mills, Heinz North America, Kraft Foods, Land O’Lakes and Pinnacle Foods.

It was nice to hear from so many experts in the Food Industry, and it gave us a chance to see some familiar faces, as well as meet some new ones. We hope that we can do business together throughout the year and beyond.

We feel that the conference was a huge success, and look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
