All we need to do is:

Do an insurance review
Safety record review
Obtain a copy of operating authority & history
Obtain a signed carrier contract (digitally imaged)
Check your 3PL references

We're always looking to maintain our pool of 16,000+ carriers with quality service. Once we have established a partnership with a carrier, we will monitor the following on an ongoing basis:

On time performance – carrier scorecard
Identification/Operations – your current name, address, phone, MC or MX numbers, etc.
Inspection – number of roadside inspections in the last two years in comparison to national average
Crashes reported – number of crashes in the last two years in comparison to the national average
Safety rating – we ensure our carriers are compliant with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)
Alias search – we confirm any cases of duplicated phone numbers, addresses, etc. used for fraud
