This is a non- commission based department

Main objective: To increase our carrier data base as well maintain and update our current carriers with complete and accurate information by making as many good quality phone calls as possible, load postings, searches, emailing's and sending out Carrier Packs, so that Ultra can grow and bring on as much new business as possible . The only way to grow is to have good business with lots of carriers that can provide the service we need. Thus telemarketing was created.

Daily Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Assigned daily projects and or assignments to work on. The project can either last a day or even up to a couple of weeks, depending on the task.

Call on new carriers as well as existing carriers on specific projects including bids for specific equipment, current business that we need more carriers for and for future business we will be awarded.

You will need to keep increasing our overall data base of carriers accurately in every market with all types of equipment.

Send out carrier packs to new carriers and to carriers in our system that do not have an existing one on file, and qualifying them for specific equipment needed for bids, current business or future business.

Post loads and do truck searches on DAT, Internet Truckstop or any load board we may be using. This will generate phone calls inbound and outbound, where we can obtain new carriers and or hear from existing carriers for current business where we need to have more carriers with specific equipment in place and for bids that need to be submitted for specific equipment and for future business where we could generate lots of carriers for.

Call carriers from our internal Carrier Search - calling lanes, CT radius, equipment specific carriers, as well as generated call lists from carrier 411 or other carrier listings, which will be provided to you. Qualifying, updating and profiling all carriers new and existing.

Bring any leads to Director on carriers that you have prequalified for the project you are currently working. Prequalified means, that you have spoken with the carrier and verified all information is correct and that the carrier has the specified equipment that is necessary for the business and has the availability we need in order to use them on specific business for the days we require.

Calls will be monitored daily as well as productivity based on the assignment given.
